The Archives of the History of American Psychology (AHAP), established in 1965 at The University of Akron, promotes research in history of psychology by collecting, cataloguing, and preserving the historical record of psychology. The collection features manuscripts, apparatus, testing materials, and all forms of media.
Museums and cultural venues participate in Museum Day voluntarily. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for individual museum content or participation.
