This elegant plantation home was constructed by one of the town’s founding fathers, Archibald Smith. Three generations of the family’s belongings are on display. Your Museum Day ticket allows entrance to all of the Southern Trilogy Homes: Barrington Hall, Bulloch Hall, and Smith Plantation.

Exhibits

To commemorate the 150 year anniversary of the beginning of the Civil War, the Smith Plantation will feature an exhibit highlighting the Smith family’s activities during the War, this year focusing on 1861.




Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis.
