Located in rural Northwest Missouri, the Andrew County Museum is located just 60 miles north of Kansas City, easily accessible from I-29. The museum’s exhibits and public programs highlight the history of rural life from the 1840s into the 21st century.
The Rural Way of Life exhibit explores life “On the Farm” and “In Town” from the 19th through the 21st centuries. Youngsters and adults can spin a tractor wheel to learn about farm machinery, visit a general store, or view a silent movie.
This venue will accept your Museum Day Live! ticket on the screen of your smartphone.
Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
