Year round environmental education center with a seasonal fish ladder, located in the heart of Manchester, New Hampshire, on the Merrimack River. Award winning school programs, public programs as well as live animals, exhibits, and special events.
Hours: Mon-Saturday 9-5 pm

Exhibits

Exhibits focus on the cultural and historical life along the Merrimack River as well as information on the Merrimack River Watershed. Live native animals and fish in aquariums throughout the center. Children's activity and play corner, knowledgeable staff on both the natural history of the area and river ecology. Fish expertise abounds.




Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
