A world class museum of Native American Archaeology, Art, Culture and History since 1937, and is located in spectacular Texas Canyon in Southeastern Arizona between Benson and Willcox, one mile off I-10. This facility offers picnic areas, art gallery, museum exhibits and museum store.

Exhibits

The exhibits tell stories from America's first peoples from Alaska to South America. from the last Ice Age to the present. Changing gallery exhibits feature contemporary Native American artists, and a collection of Western themed artists such as Fredric Remington. Current show "And Then, There Were Horses" features "Studio Style art" of the Sante Fe School of Art painted by artists from the 1930's to present.




Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
