The American Precision Museum, housed in the 1846 Robbins and Lawrence Armory in Windsor, Vermont, holds the largest collection of historically significant machine tools in the country. The Armory, a National Historic Landmark, is a fine example of mid-19th century New England industrial architecture.
From Muskets to Motorcars - Yankee Ingenuity and the Road to Mass Production: explore the early inventions that revolutionized gun making and led to mass production. Additional exhibits: The Models of John Aschauer and interpretive drawings of the Waterwheel and Millworks at the Robbins & Lawrence Armory.
