Alabama Veterans Museum & Archives Website »
The Alabama Veterans Museum and Archives is a 4,000 square-foot staffed museum. Our collection contains an impressive display of artifacts from the Revolutionary War until present day.
Visitors can walk among the actual uniforms, medals, photos, and weapons. Hear stories and experiences about the nations wars from men and women who were there in WWII, Korea, Vietnam and the present conflict.
Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
