1500 Sq Ft. facility honoring the state of Alabama's notable music achievers and preserving it's music heritage, in all fields and styles of music.

Exhibits

Personal artifacts on over 300 notable music achievers from Alabama, including The Group Alabama's tour bus, "Happy" Hal Burns "Golden Country Car, The History of Muscle Shoals Music and the original recording equipment from Sam Phillips' Memphis Music Service that B.B. King, Muddy Waters and Elvis Presley used while recording in Memphis.




Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
