Operated by the Essex County Historical Society, the Adirondack History Center Museum provides opportunities for visitors to encounter the unique cultural heritage of the central Adirondacks and Champlain Valley region. The museum can be found on the Lakes to Locks Passage geotourism mapguide: http://www.lakestolocks.org/
Enjoy our award winning Worked/Wild exhibition and discover multimedia and interactive features with photographs, paintings, memoirs, reports and videos. Community members worked with museum staff to develop exhibit themes providing a reflection of the people, the environment, and the social structure of the Adirondack region.
This venue will accept your Museum Day Live! ticket on the screen of your smartphone.
Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis.
