Built in 1758 this 254 year old Inn housed an impressive list of military leaders, statesmen and founding founders including, Washington, John Hancock, the Marquis de Lafayette, Ethan Allen and John Adams who called it "the best Inn I ever saw". Now a museum, you can see Martha Washington's suite, the Gast-tube' or "greeting room" and colonial kitchen.

Exhibits

Free Moravian Sugar Cake and coffee will be offered to all those visiting the Sun Inn on Museum Day!




Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis.
