Feels like Home
On September 25, 1911, ground is broken for Fenway Park, the new home of the Boston Red Sox to replace the Huntington Avenue Baseball Grounds. After the park opens in April, 1912, Fenway's compact design adds to the intensity of crowd roars and tension, especially when the Sox are playing their arch rivals, the New York Yankees. It is now the oldest Major League Baseball stadium.
