Ringing a Bell
Director Frank Capra dies at home in California at 94. He is the first director to receive three Oscars, for It Happened One Night (1934), Mr. Deeds Goes to Town (1936) and You Can't Take It With You (1938). Perhaps his most famous film, It's a Wonderful Life (1946) starring Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed, is ranked 11th on the American Film Institute's List of 100 Greatest Films of all Time.
