    An exhibition at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (May 6 to August 19, 2007); National Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C. (September 16, 2007 to January 21, 2008); Art Institute of Chicago (February 16 to May 11, 2008).

    An opera inspired by five paintings of Edward Hopper. At the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center, University of Maryland, College Park, Maryland (November 15 to 18, 2007) and the National Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C. (December 2, 2007)

    "At the Movies: Edward Hopper's The Sheridan Theatre"

    An exhibition at the Newark Museum, Newark, New Jersey (through August 19, 2007). Address: 49 Washington Street; Hours: Friday, Noon to 5 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

    Edward Hopper House Art Center

    The boyhood home of the artist functions as a cultural center and gallery offering monthly concerts, classes and art exhibitions. Address: 82 North Broadway, Nyack, New York; Phone: (845) 358-0774. Hours: Thursday through Sunday, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Closed Monday through Wednesday.
